Lana Trumm was born on February 14th, 1967 near Irkutsk in southern Siberia. From childhood she was interested in visual art, music, and dance. In 1987 Lana graduated with honors from Tashkent Ballet Academy in Uzbekistan. At the age of 25, she became a leading dancer for the Leningrad Music Hall. In 1996 Lana came to the United States and lived for a short time in Branson, Missouri where she danced in a troupe of a famous Russian comedian, Yakov Smirnov.
Lana currently resides in San Francisco and has developed a passion for dancing on canvas.
